Student Medical Kits Skin Suture Kit is a innovative, durable and reusable kit designed to simulate suturing human skin. Our suture model contains 3 non-toxic layers of silicone skin, each coloured to indicate anatomical layers. The surface layer indicates the epidermis, the yellow indicates the dermis, and the pink indicates subcutaneous tissue. We have also strengthened the pad with a mesh layer to ensure longevity. 

As medical students ourselves, we are aware that patients rarely present with straight cuts, and it is therefore essential to be rehearsed in all cut forms. Because of this, we have equipped our suture model with 14 wounds of unique shape, width and depth. 

Finally, to ensure stress-free practice, we have developed a sticky base that provides friction on most surfaces without leaving any residue. This prevents the suture pad moving when tightening stitches.
